MY CREATIVE JOURNEY

The creative process has always played an important role in my life. As a member of a family filled with artisits, I was always encouraged to express myself. In college, I studied drawing, painting and photography.  After college, my creative energy went into parenting and teaching. In 2019,  I recognized the need to reaquaint myself with my inner artist.  I took a leave from elementary education, and devoted my time to developing a strong foundation in painting. Nature is my greatest inspiration, specifically beaches and skies. My paintings are an exercise in observation, interpretation and exploration. My creative process is influenced by my desire to be closer to nature and to sustain a sense of inner peace and joy.

By sharing my work, I hope to share my journey and growth; and to inspire others to explore the creative process.
