Anastasia and Delray Dunes

In 2023, my husband (Alan Geppert) and I went to St. Augustine for a weekend. In our search for a state beach park, we found Anastasia. It was beyond anything I have experienced along the coasts of Florida! White dunes supported by luscious salmon pink beaches! After the visit to Anastasia, I really wanted to study dunes. However, there aren't many untouched dunes near my home. So, I erased the buildings from my photos of dunes in Delray Beach and painted a few small studies. I am happy with the lines and the contrast. I hope to revisit this project in the future.
